'Devendra Fadnavis Broke NCP': Supriya Sule Says Many From Ajit Pawar Camp Want To Return
On the contentious issue of the Chief Ministerial candidate of the MVA, Sule said, "Who will be the CM, which party will he/she be from, that is not the issue. We have to form the government, that is our aim."

National Congress Party – Sharad Pawar (NCP-SP) leader Supriya Sule has accused Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of breaking the NCP. In an exclusive interview with News18 India, Sule said, “We have not broken the family, everyone knows who has broken it. Devendra Fadnavis is the biggest face behind breaking the NCP. Fadnavis himself went to Ajit Pawar, showed him the file and took him into the Mahayuti. Now you can call it fear or something else."
Sule also claimed that several leaders of the Ajit Pawar camp wanted to switch to the Sharad Pawar camp but “we do not want to betray those who were with us in our bad times."

On the Baramati battle between Yugendra (Sharad Pawar’s grandnephew) and Ajit Pawar, Sule said, “Baramati has been Pawar ji’s from the beginning no matter who contests the election. Right now Yugendra Pawar is contesting against Ajit Pawar."
“I don’t think that senior Pawar will think about Ajit Pawar. If Ajit Pawar still respects senior Pawar, then it is a good thing," she added.
When asked why Congress was contesting most seats in the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, Sule said, “There were many meetings regarding seat sharing, but we have decided that the party will contest elections in those areas where the party is strong. That is why Congress is contesting more than 100 seats from Maha Vikas Aghadi."
Speaking on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘batenge to katenge’ call, Sule said, “I do not know this language, I do not know what it means, but I know this much that this is not the language of our Maharashtra."
Speaking on Sharad Pawar’s future, the NCP (SP) MP said, “Sharad Pawar ji has said that he will not contest elections now, and he will always work for NCP."

Talking about MVA’s scheme for women, she said that if their government comes to power in Maharashtra, they will give Rs 3,000 per month to women.
“Maharashtra has a debt of lakhs and crores, but if the finance minister is good, everything will be fine. Jayant Patil from our party was a good finance minister," Sule added.
Maharashtra will go to polls on November 20 in a single phase. The counting of votes will take place on November 23.
