Television actress Munmun Dutta has become a household name, thanks to her portrayal of Babita Iyer in the longest-running show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC). The talented actress has always been admired for her elegance, kindness, humility and impeccable fashion sense. Yet again, she has touched the hearts of her fans with her thoughtful gesture. As the holy month of Ramzan is going on in full swing, Munmun stepped in to celebrate Iftar with the crew members on the sets of the show, spreading joy and warmth among everyone.

Munmun Dutta has been part of the sitcom for almost 17 years now. The actress is loved by fans for her stint and her on-screen chemistry with Dilip Joshi. Some time back, the actress revealed how she bagged her iconic role of Babitaji.
In a conversation with filmmaker Farah Khan on her YouTube culinary show, Munmun shared, “I got Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah through auditions. I had done a show when I was in college, I was 17 years old. I had done the show Hum Sab Baraati at that time, and that was my first-ever acting experience. I didn’t even know how to do it."
Besides Munmun Dutta, the show boasts an ensemble cast including Dilip Joshi, Amit Bhatt, Mandar Chandwadkar, Sonalika Joshi, Tanuj Mahashabde, Tanmay Vekaria, among others. The sitcom, which has been airing since 2008, airs daily on Sony SAB TV from 8:30 PM to 9 PM.
