Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag and his wife, Aarti Ahlawat, are reportedly, on the verge of separation. As per a report published by Hindustan Times, Sehwag and Aarti unfollowed each other on Instagram. The article went on to claim that as per sources close to the family, the couple, who tied the knot in 2004, has been living separately for a few months.

Sehwag and Aarti have two sons – Aryaveer, born in 2007, and Vedant, born in 2010. Two weeks back, Sehwag had paid a visit to the Vishwa Nagayakshi temple, located in Palakkad. He had even shared pictures of the visit on Instagram but there was no mention of Aarti in the post. The report even talked about photos from Sehwag’s Diwali celebrations, where the World Cup-winning player shared photos with his sons and his mother but Aarti was missing from the pictures.

    Born in 1980, Aarti Ahlawat studied at the Lady Irwin Secondary School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and completed her diploma in Computer Science from Maitreyi College, Delhi University.

    As per Khel Now, Aarti Ahlawat is the director of four companies – Eventura Creations Private Limited, AVS Healthcare Private Limited, ASV Event Management Private Limited and Smgk Agro Impex Private Limited. According to the report, Aarti’s father Suraj Singh Ahlawat was an advocate.

    One of the finest batters ever to represent India, Virender Sehwag announced his retirement in 2015. One of India’s greatest opening batsmen, Sehwag recorded a strike rate of over 80 in Tests. His average has also been an impressive 49.34 in red-ball cricket. In Tests, he scored 10441 runs along with 23 centuries and 32 half-centuries.
