Ayesha Kapur, who charmed audiences as young Rani Mukerji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black, is now married.
Remember the little girl from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s critically acclaimed Black (2005), who starred alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji? Well, Ayesha Kapur, who played the young Rani Mukerji, is all grown up—and she’s now a married woman!
Over the weekend, Ayesha tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Adam Oberoi in an intimate ceremony held in Delhi. Radiating elegance, Ayesha opted for a soft pink lehenga that perfectly matched Adam’s pastel-hued sherwani. She completed her bridal look with a single, delicate dupatta, while her groom looked dapper in his sherwani paired with a matching pink turban, adding a royal flair to the celebration.

Photos and videos from the wedding festivities have been making rounds on social media, shared by friends and close family. The visuals hint at a daytime ceremony followed by a lively after-party in the evening. One clip shows Ayesha gracefully stepping out of a car, adjusting her lehenga, while surrounded by loved ones.
Currently, Ayesha Kapur works as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She recently celebrated her bachelorette at Kovalam Beach. Born and raised in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, she is the daughter of Dilip Kapur, founder of the luxury brand Hidesign.
Ayesha first rose to fame for her remarkable performance in Black, where she portrayed the younger version of Rani Mukerji’s character. Interestingly, she was trained for the role by Ranbir Kapoor, who served as an assistant director on the film. Following her successful debut, she also appeared in Sikandar (2009) as a child actor. Despite early success, she stepped away from the film industry, though she was once set to star in Shekhar Kapur’s ambitious project Paani alongside Sushant Singh Rajput—a project that, unfortunately, never materialized.
In 2022, Ayesha announced plans to return to acting with a film titled Hari Ka Om, though updates on the project remain scarce.
