Chelsea Handler Denies Romance Rumours After Oscars Party: ‘'Don’t Think Ralph Fiennes Is…’
Chelsea Handler has sparked relationship rumours with Ralph Fiennes after the Oscars party. The comedian has now broken her silence, calling the news baseless.

Rumours about Chelsea Handler and Ralph Fiennes’ relationship began circulating after they were seen leaving Vanity Fair’s Oscars party together. On 2 March, Handler and Fiennes walked the red carpet separately but were later spotted exiting the event at the same time. This fuelled speculation on social media. Now, the comedian and TV host has addressed the rumours, making it clear that there is nothing going on between them.
The Harry Potter actor wore the same black-tie tuxedo from the awards ceremony, while Chelsea dazzled in a strapless silver gown designed by Khoon Hooi.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said, “I saw that. I saw about 30,000 articles come through. Ralph Fiennes and I went from one party to another party with a group of people and that’s all that happened."
She also clarified that her ideal husband does not need to be a superstar.
The 50-year-old comedian further dismissed the link-up rumours, saying, “I don’t think Ralph Fiennes is marriage material, and I don’t think I’m marriage material." She also made it clear that she is not looking for a relationship at the moment.
Before the Oscars, Chelsea and Ralph had also been spotted together at the 2025 Critics’ Choice Awards in February. While Chelsea was hosting the event, Ralph joined her for a skit.
Later in the show, Chelsea reportedly joked about how, despite their sinister roles, Ralph’s previous characters had managed to appeal to her. He had portrayed a vicious Nazi, a malevolent ruler, and a celibate cardinal. Chelsea quipped that she had found him attractive in all of them. She added that she hoped he would never play Vladimir Putin, as she did not want to experience that hilarious moment again.
Recently, the comedian has been promoting her upcoming Netflix special, The Feeling, set to release on 25 March. She has also published her book, I’ll Have What She’s Having.
