John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan Were Classmates In School: 'We Used To Go To Watch Him Dance'
John Abraham humourously admitted that he spent most of his time on the football field, simply soaking up the sun.

John Abraham is on cloud nine as his latest film, The Diplomat, is performing well at the box office. The film is receiving rave reviews from audiences and critics for his gripping performance and storyline. After the film’s release, the actor sat for an interview with an entertainment news portal where he reminisced about his school days with Hrithik Roshan at the Bombay Scottish School, revealing that he was an exceptional dancer even back then. John humourously admitted that instead of honing any artistic skills, he spent most of his time on the football field, simply soaking up the sun.
During the interview with Pinkvilla, John took a nostalgic trip down memory lane while reacting to an old class picture. Recalling Hrithik’s talents as a dancer, he said, “Hrithik is probably the best dancer you have, and even in school he was so good at breakdancing; we used to have a cultural activities period in school, and all of us used to go just to watch Hrithik dance. What a dancer he is. He is fantastic."

Reflecting on his own school days, The Diplomat actor joked, “I wasted my time. I used to be on the football field. I did nothing but just turn brown on the football field. These guys dance so beautifully."
John and Hrithik have never worked together. However, they have both played anti-heroes in the Dhoom film series and appeared in the YRF Spy Universe films. In the same interview, he addressed this, wondering what an on-screen union between his character, Jim, and Hrithik’s Kabir would look like.
On the cinematic front, John is seen in the thriller drama The Diplomat. Directed by Shivam Nair, the film features the actor as India’s Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh in Islamabad. Looking ahead, he will be seen in Tehran with Manushi Chhillar.
Hrithik Roshan, on the other hand, will be gracing the screen with his upcoming film War 2. He also has Karan Malhotra’s directorial Krrish 4 in his pipeline. Starring Nora Fatehi and Preity G Zinta, the film is expected to release in 2026.
