Created by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham, the British crime drama is a four-episode miniseries about a 13-year-old schoolboy, Jamie Miller. The young boy faces an investigation after he is accused of murdering a female classmate. The USP of the show – it has been shot in a single, continuous take, scripting history and setting new benchmarks in the entertainment industry.
Stephen, the show’s co-creator, also steps in front of the camera, portraying Eddie Miller, the father of the accused. Alongside the lead duo, the series boasts a strong supporting cast, including Ashley Walters, Christine Tremarco, Erin Doherty and Faye Marsay. Adolescence premiered on Netflix on March 13 and is directed by Philip Barantini.
