Ranveer Allahbadia, who runs the popular YouTube podcast channel BeerBiceps, has announced a “new blessed chapter" in his life after India’s Got Latent controversy. On Sunday, March 30, the YouTuber shared his first post since the “sex with parents" controversy erupted in January. Tanmay Bhat, Abhay Deol, and fellow YouTubers congratulated him on his comeback.
Ranveer Allahbadia dropped a series of photos on Instagram. The first photo in the lot comprised his team and well-wishers. The next photo showed the Youtuber sitting quietly and working on his laptop, followed by one with his grandmother, and his dog. Sharing the pictures, Ranveer wrote, “Thank you to my loved ones Thank you universe A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth (sic)."

He shared the same photos on his Instagram story and additionally wrote, “Grateful to every single teammate. Even in this storm, each one stood by. Real ‘treasure’." However, he didn’t reveal the details of his new beginnings. Take a look at the pictures here:

Comedian Tanmay Bhat posted a series of comments marking Ranveer’s return. He wrote “Nice of you to click photo with the only subscribers you have left", “Like this comment if you want a B Praak podcast", “Missed you (not really)". Actor Abhay Deol reacted with clap emojis. Influencer Ruhee Dosani wrote, “Lessssssgo". Tannaz Irani commented, “Just like the Sphinx when you want to rise again. You have to learn to burn first! You made it through @ranveerallahbadia . A great day to begin again! Like the snake you’ve shed of what wasn’t meant for you. Welcome back." Fans, too, supported Ranveer’s decision to bounce back.
Earlier today, he dropped a new post hinting at his return to social media. “Healing because of you all [bandaged heart emoji]. Be with us tomorrow," read the post.
What was the India’s Got Latent controversy?
It all started when Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, appeared on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent and asked a contestant inappropriate questions on parental sex, body parts and intimacy. The main question which drew flak was: “Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?"
Following the incident, a police complaint was lodged against Ranveer, Samay and other co-judges present on the episode, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija. While Ranveer posted several apologies on social media after the incident, Samay deleted India’s Got Latent episodes from YouTube.
