Did you know that Samantha Ruth Prabhu did not just attend the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2025 – she also won the Best Actress (OTT) award for her performance in Citadel: Honey Bunny? For the same series, Varun Dhawan bagged the Best Actor (OTT) trophy, while Raj and DK took home the award for Best Directors in the OTT segment.
In her acceptance speech, “It’s an honour to be here in such esteemed company and I mean I’ve all the other nominees that you know actors that I look up to so this truly is an honour for me just completing the series was an award enough for me considering the circumstances so I would like to dedicate this award to the people who believed in me Raj, DK, Sita and Varun thank you for putting up with me the patience that all of you show to complete the show I know it wasn’t easy I’m extremely extremely grateful all I did was show up and you guys really took care of me on this one so I am forever grateful thank you."
