Sonakshi Sinha Shares Post Suggesting Pahalgam Attack Was A 'Deliberate Campaign To Spread Hate And Divide Us'
Sonakshi Sinha condemned the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 tourists, sharing a politician's post calling it a campaign to spread hate and divide communities.

Sonakshi Sinha has condemned the ghastly Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists. Taking to her Instagram story, the actor shared a post by Nationalist Congress Party (SP) spokesperson Anish Gawande, which described the attack as a “deliberate campaign to spread hate".
The post shared by Sonakshi Sinha claimed that the terrorists “didn’t just aim to kill", rather they “aimed to create mistrust". “To turn Indian Hindus against Indian Muslims. To fracture communities. To plant poison between neighbours and friends," the post further read.

“Make no mistake, this is a deliberate campaign," Gawande wrote firmly, adding, “Instead of mourning as Indians, we’re being told to mourn as Hindus. Instead of uniting as Indians, we’re being urged to divide ourselves by faith." The post concluded with the words: “But using this pain to pit Indian against Indian is unforgivable. That is the terrorists’ final victory. And we must not let them win." In a horrifying incident on Tuesday afternoon, April 22, terrorists linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba opened fire on a group of tourists in Pahalgam, South Kashmir. The brutal attack claimed the lives of nearly 26 individuals. As per eyewitnesses, two to three assailants, disguised in military uniforms, stormed the area and began firing indiscriminately at tourists who were enjoying horseback rides at the scenic Baisaran Meadows. The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy of Lashkar, later claimed responsibility for the shooting.
