'The Fear Is Back': Fans Call Soha Ali Khan’s First Glimpse From Chhorii 2 Intriguing

Chhorii 2, the Vishal Furia horror directorial, featuring Nushrratt Bharuccha and Soha Ali Khan is among the most anticipated films of 2025. On Monday, the makers offered a fresh glimpse from the spine-chilling world of Chhorii which has left the fans all excited for the upcoming sequel. In the film, Nushrratt reprises her role as Sakshi, the pregnant protagonist. The sequel digs deeper into the frightening situations she endures.
Taking to Instagram, Soha Ali Kha, who is the new addition to the cast of Chhorii 2, dropped a picture on her stories wherein a woman could be seen sitting inside a dark room with her head covered by a red dupatta and facing a door through which light is entering the room. Sharing the picture in her stories, the actress wrote, “Some horrors refuse to stay buried. Kuch laut raha hai."

Released in 2021, Chhorii tells the story of Sakshi, a pregnant woman who seeks protection in an isolated village only to be confronted by horrific supernatural forces. The film is a remake of the 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi. It delves into problems of societal evils and motherhood while providing spine-chilling horror.
Its sequel, Chhorii 2, on the other hand, promises to delve deeper into Sakshi’s haunting experiences.
Earlier this month, Nushrratt treated her fans with a couple of BTS pictures from the sets of Chhorii 2. The first pic features the actress lying on a sofa with blood marks all over her body, while in the next one, she is seen talking to director Vishal Furia. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, she wrote in the caption, “They tried to silence her. She made them listen! Happy Women’s Day from this Chhorii to all other Chhoriis out there! A special thanks to my director, @furia_vishal, for providing me another reason to fight the good fight!"
