Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde Wrap Rishikesh Schedule Of 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' By Jumping Into The River | Watch
Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde completed shooting for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in Rishikesh. They took a dip in the river after completing shoot.
Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde have teamed up for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a romantic comedy directed by the former’s father, David Dhawan. The lead actors and the film’s star cast were in Rishikesh to complete a schedule of the film. After performing the Ganga aarti on Day 1, the actors have now completed shooting in Rishikesh. Varun and Pooja marked the completion of the shoot by jumping into the river.
With the Ishq Sona Hai track from Biwi No 1 playing in the backdrop, Varun and Pooja held hands and jumped into the river together, marking the end of their shoot in Rishikesh. The actors shared a joint video and wrote, “Jaawanj hai toh jump marna hai!! #haijaawanitohishqhonahai #rishikesh wrap (sic)." Watch the video here:

Reportedly, Varun and Pooja were in Rishikesh for a 3-day shoot of the film. “It would be a 3-day shoot, and they would be shooting a sequence of river rafting," a source told Pinkvilla. During their visit, the actors also planted a sacred Rudraksha sapling at the Parmarth Niketan premises on the occasion of World Forest Day. They also received Sangam water and sacred ashes as blessings from Pujya Swamiji. Here are the pictures:

Last year, a Pinkvilla reported had it that the Ramesh Taurani production has been titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. “It’s a quirky title in sync with the world that David Dhawan is looking to create with Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Sreelela. It’s a fun family entertainer with the love triangle of the trio at the centre. David Dhawan has cracked a concept that’s fresh and original, and is confident to recreate the magic of comedies on the big screen again," revealed a source.
The film was previously slated for release in October 2025. A confirmation from the makers is awaited.
