The trailer for the historical drama Phule has been unveiled, generating excitement ahead of its theatrical release on April 11. The film, based on the life of legendary social reformer Jyotirao Phule, fittingly premieres on his birth anniversary. Starring Pratik Gandhi and Patralekhaa in lead roles, the trailer has received widespread praise from movie buffs. Bhumi shared the trailer of Phule on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Waiting to watch this one my dearest Patralekhaa and Pratik Gandhi. All the best, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan." Phule seeks to highlight the extraordinary accomplishments of Jyotirao Phule along with Savitribai Phule, the visionaries who battled for the rights of women and marginalized people in the 19th-century. His endeavours to impart education to all, particularly women and the disadvantaged, make him a symbol of social reform in Indian history. Pratik Gandhi Plays the role of Jyotirao Phule while Patralekhaa steps in as Savitribai Phule.

The film, co-produced by Kranti Shanbhag and Kalapi Nagada, aims to take spectators on an inspirational historical journey and an unflinching commitment towards social justice.     Pratik Gandhi recently appeared in the Netflix film Dhoom Dhaam, alongside Yami Gautam.     On the other hand, Bhumi Pednekar most recently starred in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The film, directed by Mudassar Aziz and starring Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh, depicts a modern love story with surprising turns.
