Concerned by his persistent negligence, the policeman’s superiors demanded an explanation. His answer has since gone viral along with a photo of the exchange. When questioned, officials said that they are considering counselling for the policeman.

Despite being informed of the time, you arrived late, unshaven, and in uniform that was not up to standard. This instance is not isolated, as your late arrival for group work and team counts has been observed on multiple occasions. Such behaviour demonstrates a lack of interest in your duties and reflects poorly on your commitment to government work. Within a disciplined force like the PAC, this disregard for punctuality and presentation constitutes gross negligence and signifies indiscipline and arbitrariness. Please explain your actions."
The notice demanded a response within a day, stating: “Give your reply so that action can be taken against you as per rules."
When approached by News 18 for a statement regarding the viral document, officers remained evasive. The commander of the 44th battalion PAC refused to comment on camera, stating that while an explanation had been sought from the policeman, he was unaware of the response. He stated that the authenticity of the viral photo would be investigated and that the policeman would receive counselling.
