Top Indian intelligence sources report that Mahrang Baloch’s arrest has become a flashpoint for broader Baloch demands for justice and autonomy. They stated that the Pakistani government labels these actions as counter-terrorism measures, but they actually repress peaceful dissent.

The ongoing protests in Balochistan represent a critical moment in the region’s struggle and call for global intervention to address human rights abuses. Such behavior towards any female protester is unheard of in a democratic country and exemplifies an abuse of state power, sources said.
