Protests have erupted across Pakistan following the arrest of prominent Baloch human rights activist Mahrang Baloch, CNN-News18 has learnt. These protests demonstrate widespread outrage over state crackdowns and systemic oppression in Balochistan. The protesters observed March 27 as a Black Day.

      Top Indian intelligence sources say that the arrest of Mahrang Baloch has become a flashpoint for broader Baloch demands for justice and autonomy. “The Pakistani government is calling these actions counter-terrorism measures, but they are repression of peaceful dissent," said a source.
