Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s largest carmaker, on Friday reported a 4.29 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 3,711.1 crore. However, its revenue from operations during January-March 2025 rose to Rs 38,848.8 crore, compared with Rs 36,697.5 crore in the year-ago period.
Its net profit had stood at Rs 3,877.8 in the corresponding period last year.

Maruti Suzuki India also declared a dividend of Rs 135 for the financial year 2024-25.
On a consolidated basis, Maruti Suzuki India’s net profit slipped 1 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,911 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025. The country’s largest carmaker reported a net profit of Rs 3,952 crore in the January-March quarter of FY24.
For the full year ended March 31, 2025, the maker of models like Swift and Grand Vitara reported a net profit of Rs 14,500 crore, up 7.5 per cent, against Rs 13,488 crore in 2023-24 fiscal.
Revenue rose to Rs 1,52,913 crore in FY25 from Rs 1,41,858 crore in FY24.
Shares of Maruti Suzuki India on Friday were trading at down by 0.5 per cent at Rs 11,830 apiece on the BSE, as of 2:26 pm. The BSE Sensex was trading lower by 0.48 per cent.
