RR vs SRH Predicted XI, IPL 2025: Head-Abhishek Duo, Riyan Parag's Captaincy In Focus
Sunrisers Hyderabad have some of the most explosive batters in their line-up in Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen.

As IPL 2025 beckons, a lot of eyes will be on the fiery duo of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma to see if they can continue their splendid touch from IPL 2024 into the new season, with a new captain in their opposition in the 23-year-old Riyan Parag, who will lead Rajasthan as Sanju Samson plays as a pure batter.
Runners-up in IPL 2024, Hyderabad will be aiming to begin strong at home on what is expected to be a flat, high-scoring pitch at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

With Head, Abhishek, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen in the top order, Hyderabad are capable of posting record-breaking totals.
If any side can get to the much talked about 300-run total after batting first, it is Hyderabad that is expected to achieve the feat with the firepower they have.
The return of India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy after an injury is expected to add to Hyderabad’s arsenal as well. With the kind of form Abhishek and Head have been having, the supporters can expect to see impressive strokes.
The bowling attack, led by captain Pat Cummins, includes the seasoned Mohammed Shami, spin ace Adam Zampa and death overs specialist Harshal Patel, making this a formidable unit across all phases.
On the other side, Rajasthan are hampered by the unavailability of skipper Sanju Samson as a fielder or keeper because of a finger injury.
Without Jos Buttler, Rajasthan’s batting leans heavily on Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shimron Hetmyer.
With few established names in Rajasthan’s bowling department, except England pacer Jofra Archer, there is every possibility that Hyderabad can eye another 250-plus total if they bat first on Sunday, March 23.
Having dominated Rajasthan last season, including a crucial victory over them in Qualifier 2, Hyderabad will be looking to extend their supremacy in what promises to be a big-ticket afternoon encounter.
