Australia women’s cricket captain Alyssa Healy‘s hilarious reaction to husband Mitchell Starc‘s five-wicket haul in IPL 2025 on Sunday has gone viral on social media. Starc became the first Delhi Capitals fast-bowler to pick five or more wickets in an IPL innings with his figures of 5/35 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Putting a story on Instagram, with the background of Indian rapper-singer Shubh’s song ‘Aura’, she cheekily praised her Women’s Premier League (WPL) team UP Warriorz first and then mentioned the Capitals too. The Capitals field a strong team in the WPL, too, which has reached the final thrice and beaten Warriorz many times.

Starc continued his stunning form against SRH. He got Ishan Kishan and Nitish Kumar Reddy out in his second over (third of the innings). Then, skipper Axar Patel chose to bowl three of his four overs in the powerplay, which got the Capitals the big scalp of Travis Head.
In the 19th over, he picked up two more — Harshal Patel and Wian Mulder — to complete his fifer.
“There’s no ego in bowlers these days," Starc said in the post-match presentation. “As a bowler, you got to think out of the box. You need to do things you wouldn’t normally do. It was nice to contribute to the win today, we move forward from here. Guys know what I am going to do, so you need to think out of the box. As an older player, you need to find different ways to get batters out. Tried to bowl different balls today, was pretty effective I think."
“It has been a good day with the ball, in the field and with the bat. It was a fantastic performance by us today. It’s a new set of players, they have been fantastic. You get to play with new guys, it’s a great group of players. It’s a pretty young group to be fair, looking forward to playing more with them," he added.
