The actor recently attended the screening of Devara in Japan where the audience showered him with love and cheers. The Pan-India star received an overwhelming response. The video that Jr NTR posted on his official Instagram handle shows the audience erupting in cheers as he casually walks in, all smiles, greeting his fans in Japan.
In his Instagram post, the superstar expressed his gratitude to the Japanese audience with the caption saying, “Overwhelmed, Japan! Can’t wait for the Japanese audience to experience #Devara in cinemas from March 28th".

Devara: Part 1 is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Koratala Siva. It is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and N. T. R. Arts. The film stars NT Rama Rao Jr in dual roles, alongside Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko. It is the first part of a planned duology and marks the Telugu cinema debut of Kapoor. The film follows Devara, chieftain of a coastal village, who feuds with his counterpart Bhaira over arms smuggling through the Red Sea.
Devara: Part 1 hit theatres worldwide on September 27, 2024, in multiple formats, including IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX, D-Box, MX4D, and PVR ICE. While the film received mixed reviews from critics, it proved to be a commercial success, raking in Rs 380–521 crore at the box office against a hefty budget of Rs 200–300 crore.
