Kanye West Calls Himself ‘A Good Dad’ After Claiming He Hasn’t Seen Son Saint This Year
Kanye West shared a series of tweets, with claims of being alienated from his children.

Amidst a growing custody dispute, Kanye West claims he hasn’t seen his son Saint at all “this year." Expressing his frustration on X, the rapper emphasised his commitment to being a “good dad," stating, “I don’t need to just ‘SEE’ my kids. I need to raise them. I’m a good dad. I’m a great father to have." However, he chose not to offer further details.
The tweets come in contrast to a couple of pictures that went viral in January this year when the rapper was spotted with his three youngest kids, Saint West, Chicago West and Psalm West, stocking up on treats in Japan.

The series of tweets didn’t just end here, as West further went on to claim that he hasn’t seen Saint in 2025, also levelling allegations of his kids being taken away from him. “I HAVE TO SUPPRESS THE FACT THAT MY KIDS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME, AND EVERYONE JUST WATCHES," one of his tweets read.
In another post, Kanye even questioned why celebrities like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, along with Elon Musk and President Donald Trump, are “watching and letting Kim take his kids from him in real time."
Amid the back-to-back claims, Kim Kardashian has strongly refuted it all, revealing that Kanye met Saint as well as his other kids last week. A source close to the SKIMS founder told Mirror UK, “Kanye has been in LA recently for a few months and didn’t ask to see the kids aside from North until a week before he was leaving again. Kanye can see the kids anytime he wants; there are no limitations, but Kim is also very careful not to put them in situations that are chaotic. Protecting her kids is first and foremost."
Kanye West shares four children—Psalm, Chicago, Saint, and North—with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, to whom he was married between 2014 and 2022. The former couple have been feuding lately over their eldest daughter, North, featuring in West’s song with rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs against the Kardashian’s approval. Since then, the duo has been reportedly considering a legal battle, with Kim wanting to remove West’s joint custody rights.
