Chum Darang and Rajat Kapoor starrer Khauf trailer has finally been released. The upcoming horror series has impressed fans. Directed by Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan, the eight-episode series is set to premiere on April 18 on Amazon Prime Video. Recently, the streaming platform unveiled its first poster on Instagram.
The video opens with a girl who has shifted to New Delhi to restart her life. She is hunting for a house but is not able to find within her budget. However, she manages to find a room in a girls hostel. But there is a problem there. Someone is haunting her room and other girls residing knows about it. They warn her to leave the place as soon as possible. The video proceeds, Rajat Kapoor is shown as mysterious character who practices evil things on girls. It will be interesting to see the series and find out the truth.

Shilpa Shirodkar wrote, “Many many congratulations my Chumtiiiiii so happy and so so so proud of you my girl. This is just a start to something so so so BIG. Love, love and only love for you my sweetheart." Another wrote, ‘So excited to see Chummie." The poster featured the lead cast Rajat and Monika with a scary creature in the background, leaving the fans intrigued.
Khauf promises an intense and thrilling journey, blending supernatural aspects with deeply emotional storytelling that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. Apart from Rajat and Monika, the show also features actor Abhishek Chauhan, known for his role in films like Kill and web series Cubicles, Geetanjali Kulkarni and Shilpa Shukla in significant roles.
Talking about the show, Khauf’s creator Smita Singh said in a statement, “Horror thrives on emotions and atmosphere, and with Khauf, we created a story that is both unsettling and deeply human."
“Khauf elevates the genre with a powerful, multifaceted story that will delight fans and send them into a dark world of horror," said Nikhil Madhok, head of Originals, Prime Video India.
Chum, on the other hand, has also appeared in films like Badhaai Do and Gangubai Kathiawadi.
