This film is a follow-up to the 2019 remake and a prequel to the 1994 animated original. Mufasa, which is set in Tanzania’s Pride Lands, centers on Mufasa and Taka, who grow close and eventually become adoptive brothers before a string of tragic incidents jeopardises their relationship. The film is releasing on JioHotstar on March 26.
Deva
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the Deva is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam movie Mumbai Police. In the film, ACP Dev Ambre, a relentless Mumbai cop, suffers memory loss after an accident, which changes the plot of the film. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Degde, the film is releasing on March 28 on Netflix.
The Studio
In this upcoming comedy series, Seth Rogen plays Matt Remick, the recently hired head of a faltering film studio who must balance business demands and artistic aspirations while navigating a changing market. This much-awaited series is set to be released on Apple TV+ on March 26.
Delulu Express On March 27
The well-known comedian Zakir Khan will be making a comeback to the OTT platform with another fun standup show, Delulu Express. Jaakirathai Seruppugal
Tamil film The tumultuous comedy Serupugga Jaakirathai is around a shoe that has an unusual relationship with several characters. Rathinam, a diamond smuggler, unintentionally gives his loot to an auditor when he conceals it under a slipper out of dread of a raid. When the slipper gets mixed up with other shoes, it leads to a crazy hunt for diamonds and shoes, which makes for an entertaining chase. The film is releasing on March 28, Zee5.
Viduthalai Part II
It is a follow-up to Part I, released in 2023. Viduthalai Part II is a historical criminal thriller that explores the journey of Perumal Vaathiyaar, a modest schoolteacher who transforms into a militant communist leader as he comes clean about his past. The film is set to be released on Zee5 on March 28.
