The makers of the thriller series Black Warrant, starring Zahan Kapoor, grandson of the late legendary actor Shashi Kapoor, organised a grand screening of the web show in Mumbai on Thursday night. The event turned into a star-studded affair, with several Bollywood personalities gracing the occasion. Among the attendees was Zahan’s cousin, actor Ranbir Kapoor, who came to support his younger brother. Pictures and videos of the Rockstar actor at the special screening quickly made their way to social media, delighting fans.
In one of the videos, Ranbir Kapoor and Zahan Kapoor are seen sharing a moment as they pose together. The clip further shows the cousins engaging in a brief conversation before Zahan makes his exit. Following this, the Animal actor stayed back to pose solo for the paparazzi.

Ranbir looked dapper in a casual yet stylish denim-on-denim outfit. He opted for a classic white T-shirt paired with a denim jacket and matching cargo. Zahan, on the other hand, wore a black T-shirt paired with dark blue jeans. To amp up his style, he layered his attire with a brown jacket. He completed his look with black formal shoes.
Apart from Ranbir, other celebrities who attended Black Warrant’s screening last night included Ananya Panday, Pratik Gandhi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Anurag Kashyap, Mahesh Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor.
Helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the series also features Rajshree Deshpande, Rahul Bhatt, Anurag Singh, Paramvir Singh Cheema and Sidhant Gupta in pivotal roles. It will stream on the OTT giant Netflix today, January 10.
The series follows the life of Sunil Kumar Gupta (played by Zahan), a young and shy man who becomes the prison warden at Tihar Jail. Soon after he joins the duty, he faces challenges in his new life. The trailer also provides a glimpse of Rahul Bhat’s character Rajesh Tomar, along with references to the Ranga Billa murders and the appearance of a character looking like Charles Sobhraj, played by Sidhant Gupta.
Meanwhile, talking about Ranbir, he will be next seen in director Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film Ramayan which will be hitting the theatres on Diwali 2026. Apart from that, he also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War as well as Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park in his kitty.
