Usha Nadkarni Gets Emotional Farewell From Celebrity MasterChef
Usha Nadkarni’s elimination from Celebrity MasterChef, just before the semi-final, has left the audience emotional.
The latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef took the audience on an emotional rollercoaster as veteran actress Usha Nadkarni was eliminated from the show. Hosted by Farah Khan, the cooking-based reality series is nearing its finale. Unfortunately, Usha Nadkarni couldn’t make it to the semi-finals and was evicted. Her elimination left fellow contestants and viewers deeply emotional. The judges also praised her determination and fighting spirit throughout the competition.
Usha Nadkarni’s departure sparked a wave of reactions from fans, who were both shocked and saddened. Known as the “Maa of MasterChef," she had prepared a fish dish for the challenge, but the judges found it overcooked. At the start of the episode, Farah Khan introduced three mystery boxes. Chef Ranveer’s box contained a prepared dish, while Chef Kunal’s box held a single ingredient. Initially unsure, Usha Tai eventually chose Chef Ranveer’s box after some persuasion from Faisu and Ranveer.
Later, Farah Khan and Usha Tai discussed her cooking process. Farah recalled that Usha Tai’s knife technique had failed during a previous chicken recipe, leaving it undercooked. In response, Usha Tai jokingly said, “Farah ma’am aake panvati lag gayi," to which Farah replied, “Mujhe panvati bola aapne?"
When Usha Tai presented her dish, Chef Ranveer was visibly disappointed. Her fish was half-cut and overcooked, which led her to break down in tears.
As a result, Usha Tai landed in the bottom three alongside Tejasswi and Rajiv. Ultimately, she was the one eliminated. Faisu, feeling guilty for encouraging her to pick the mystery box, said, “I pushed her to take that mystery box. I feel guilty that she got evicted because of me." He later broke down in tears, deeply moving his admirers.
