Dharam Singh Deol, known mononymously as Dharmendra, is an Indian film actor, producer, and politician who is best known for his work in Hindi films. He is also known as the "He-Man" of Indian cinema. He is considered one of the most successful and prolific actors in the history of Indian cinema. In the mid-seventies, he was also voted among the top 10 most handsome men in the world. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Hindi cinema.
