While Bumrah is yet to join the MI squad for IPL 2025 due to fitness-related issues, Hardik is serving a one-match suspension from the last season, and because of that, he will miss Sunday’s match. In his absence, Suryakumar Yadav will lead the Mumbai-based franchise against Ruturaj Gaikwad & Co., which, after missing out on a place in the playoffs last season, will be eager to win the IPL title for the record-extending six times this year.
