BTS’ V Drops New Photos And ARMY Is Obsessed With His Transformation
Alongside the new pictures, the BTS singer V revealed that he has lost 10 kg.
BTS’ Kim Taehyung, aka V, never misses a chance to captivate his fans, even while serving in the military. On Sunday, March 23, he set the internet ablaze by offering a glimpse of his toned physique once again. The 29-year-old BTS star took to Weverse to update fans on his weight loss transformation.
Taehyung shared two pictures of himself while working out in a gym. He clicked a mirror selfie sitting on a chest press machine, wearing a grey vest, yellow beanie and brown pants with his headphones on. The picture gave a clear look at his buffed-up biceps. In another photo, V could be seen leaning down while holding an EZ bar, once again flaunting his muscular body.

Alongside the pictures, the BTS singer revealed that he lost a significant amount of weight. He wrote, “So recently…! I lost a lot of weight, right? I lost 10 kg…hahahaha. I’ll keep putting in the work."
As soon as the new images of Taehyung surfaced on X, fans went into a frenzy. In a post shared by a BTS fan page, ARMYs took to the comment section to compliment his new look.
One fan said, “Oh wow, he is so handsome, and I don’t know what to say. I’m charmed."
“Still beautiful and healthy as always!!! Losing or not losing kg, you are a sweetheart," said a different fan.
Meanwhile, another one quipped, “That’s great to hear .. he buffed up for his military service and now is getting in shape for their concert comebacks (stage is gruelling). I’m sure you will continue to work hard on stage physicality! Stay healthy. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU GUYS."
Someone else wrote, “THOSE VEINS!? THOSE HANDS?! THOSE ARMS?! Sue him someone, this is ILLEGAL!!"
Last month, V took to Weverse to share that he had gained some weight. He wrote, “Time for a check-in. Currently weighing in at 72.5kg (160 lbs). Stay tuned for more updates." Before enlisting in the military, V had promised his fans that he would “increase his weight to 86 kg" to improve his physical strength during his military service.
Taehyung enlisted in the military in December 2023 with the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungnam. He is currently stationed in the 2nd Infantry Division, Ssangyong Unit, in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, serving under the Special Task Force of the Military Police Corps. V is scheduled to be discharged by June this year.
