Actor Ajith Kumar has once again showcased his passion for motorsport, with his car racing team, Ajithkumar Racing bagging an impressive third place at the 12H Mugello car racing event in Italy. The achievement brings another feather to the actor’s cap, who comes fresh off a victory at the 991 category of the 24H Dubai 2025 earlier this year. Taking to the official social media handle, Ajithkumar Racing marked the achievement with videos from the winning moment, showing Kumar’s team gracing the third position on the podium.

“Victory in style! Team Ajithkumar Racing shines at the 12H Mugello, Italy, celebrating a fantastic podium finish!" the caption read, further giving a special shoutout to the winners for their stellar performance on the track.

The video also shows Ajith holding the Indian flag as he takes on the podium with his teammates, who later pop the champagne and drench him in it. The actor sportingly played along and happily got back at them. In another set of pictures, the actor can be seen waving to his fans and posing for cameras. “That’s another podium for Ajith Kumar Racing in Europe for the 12h of Mugello P3 in the 992 AM category for our 3 lions Next stop Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium for the 12h of Spa," the caption read.

For those unaware, the Vidaamuyarchi actor is not just the owner of Ajith Kumar Racing Team but also competes as a racer, alongside his teammates Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod. Previously, at the 24H Dubai race, his team bagged the third spot when the actor suffered an accident, prompting him to initially withdraw from future competition.

Speaking of his film projects, Ajith Kumar was recently seen in Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaamuyarchi, which came out in February this year. The road action-thriller also featured actors like Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regena Cassandra in key roles. Kumar next has Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly, in the pipeline. While Trisha is all set to reunite with her Vidaamuyarchi co-star, the film will also feature Karthikeya Dev as Ajith Kumar’s on-screen son.

The film will hit theatres on April 10.
