Akshay Kumar has several projects in the pipeline. On Monday, the makers unveiled the teaser of his upcoming film Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, co-starring R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday.
Akshay portrays Sir C. Sankaran Nair, the lawyer who dared to challenge the British Empire in the aftermath of a national catastrophe. The preview showcases gunfire, distress, and rising tension, creating a gripping atmosphere that captivates viewers.
Kesari Chapter 2, adapted from the novel The Case That Shook the Empire by Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat, aims to bring a fresh perspective to Indian cinema with its innovative storytelling. The film is co-produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective and directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. It is set to release in cinemas on 18 April 2025.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is also set to return with the third instalment of Jolly LLB. The popular franchise, which began in 2013 with Arshad Warsi in the lead and saw Akshay take over in the 2017 sequel, returns with its most ambitious chapter yet. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced on Instagram that Jolly LLB 3 will hit the big screen on 19 September 2025.

The third instalment will feature an explosive showdown between Akshay Kumar’s Jolly Tyagi and Arshad Warsi’s Jolly Mishra. Saurabh Shukla is expected to reprise his role as the eccentric yet beloved judge. Sources suggest that the plot revolves around a complex and socially relevant case.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 3 also stars Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao in key roles. Filmed primarily in Mumbai and Rajasthan, the movie promises a thrilling mix of comedy, action, and drama, making it one of the most anticipated releases of 2025.
