BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim has once again proven her global star power, making history at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event. Held in Los Angeles on March 29, the prestigious ceremony celebrated influential women in the music industry, with Jennie receiving the esteemed Global Force Award. This makes her the first K-pop soloist to earn this recognition.

Jennie stole the show with her effortless charm and heartfelt words as she took the stage to accept her award. She gave a special shoutout to her BLACKPINK members and expressed her admiration for women around the world who continue to break barriers and make a difference in their own unique ways.

“I just want to say thank you to Billboard for recognising me with this year’s Global Force Award. I am so honoured to be receiving this award in this room full of inspiring and beautiful women. This is so special," the Mantra singer said.

She continued, “I am so lucky and fortunate to work with so many talented people in my career. I have these amazing women in my album. Words cannot express how thankful I am. This award is a tribute to every woman who dares to dream."

Before concluding, Jennie also acknowledged the group that shaped her rise to international stardom. “I want to take a moment to thank my BLACKPINK girls. Without them, this journey would have never happened."

Jennie stole the spotlight the moment she arrived at the Billboard Women in Music red carpet. Dressed in a gorgeous red gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad, she looked absolutely stunning. The dress had a beautiful sweetheart neckline, delicate pearl details, and a subtle slit, adding to her effortless elegance.
