“Mujhe tumhari little black dress nahi dekhni, na hi high heels…
Darna nahi, high heels se nahi darta — main 6 foot ka nahi hoon, lekin mohabbat mein 60 foot se bhi ooncha hoon.
Tum aana apne sabse saaf-suthre libaas mein — uss night suit wali t-shirt mein, jo tumhari mummy ne phenk dene ko kaha tha.
Ek simple sa pyjama, saadi si chappal… Hum ek couple jaise nahi, bheed mein ekdum aam log jaise dikhne chahiye.
Main tumhare saath chamakna nahi chahta, main bheed mein gum ho jana chahta hoon.
Mujhe tumhari taiyari nahi dekhni, mujhe sirf tumhe dekhna hai.
Tumhare mahange kapde, tumhe kam keemti bana dete hain."
The actor also took inspiration from Rabindranath Tagore’s line, ‘jaise ho waise hi aa jao, shṛngaar ko rehne do." As soon as the actor finished his poem, he was lauded with huge applause from the audience.
