Nushrratt Bharuccha, Soha Ali Khan’s Chhorii 2 Posters Leave Fans Excited
Soha Ali Khan, who is the new addition to the cast of Chhorii 2, will be seen taking the role of the antagonist.
Chhorii 2, the Nushrratt Bharuccha and Soha Ali Khan starrer horror-thriller film, is generating a lot of buzz on social media. Helmed by Vishal Furia, it is the sequel to the 2021 horror film Chhorii and will be streaming on the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video from April 11. Ahead of its premiere, the makers have now dropped a new poster of the film, leaving the fans intrigued.
The poster depicts Nushrratt’s character Sakshi with a scared expression and holding her on-screen daughter close, that too inside the mouth of a ghostly sculpture. Sharing the post on Instagram, Prime Video wrote in the caption, “Just when you thought the nightmare was over…a new horror awaits #Chhorii2OnPrime, April 11."

As soon as the makers dropped the poster, the comment section was swamped with reactions from fans and admirers. An Instagram user wrote, “Most awaited." Another one commented, “Masterpiece Incoming." One of them shared, “Can’t wait to see."
Recently, the makers unveiled the film’s official teaser, which received good responses from audiences. The teaser begins with a disturbing scene in which a young girl, Ishani, desperately seeks her mother, Sakshi (played by Nushrratt), only to be forcibly pulled away by a demonic force. As the teaser progresses, it offers glimpses of their lives seven years after the events of the previous film. It becomes evident that Sakshi and Ishani are living in isolation due to Ishani’s illness, which causes her to be extremely sensitive to sunlight.

Talking about Chhorii, the film was an official remake of the 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi. It delves into problems of societal evils and motherhood while providing spine-chilling horror.
