Almost all Instagram influencers know the value of face-tuning apps to make them more presentable to their audience and fans. But one biker ‘woman’ took the use of these apps to a whole new level and changed ‘her’ whole existence. The popular female motorbike rider in Japan with a substantial social media following of nearly 20K has made headlines after accidentally revealing it was a 50-year-old man all along! The biker, who goes by the name of @azusagakuyuki on Twitter, was tracked down by media outlets after fans started suspecting something fishy behind-the-scenes.

Known for her love of ‘playing around with bikes,’ the woman-on-social media account gained a lot of attraction among male followers. He posted a lot of pictures of himself on Twitter along with pictures of her bike and assorted tools. All was going well and no one suspected a thing until he made a tiny mistake. He posted a picture of his bike but in the rear-view mirror — there is a tiny reflection of a middle-aged man. As social media users are quite adept at dissecting every picture presented to them, the eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the reflection.

“It’s a man," replied one fan in Spanish with a surprised-face emoji. Another joked, “Okay! Actually, he was an uncle!" but added he would continue to follow the account as it is still fun and not a problem.

Talking to World8 News, the man revealed he was using Photoshop and FaceApp to change his identity online. “People fell for that? The face really looks fake and damn, that hairy arm," said one user and another complained that one cannot trust anything on social media.

The man with the shoulder-length hair said the ‘beautifying’ process as enjoyable as it increased the number of likes on his social media. Adding that no one wants to see an uncle on a bike, he posed as a girl for fun at first but saw that 1,000 followed him. So, he continued pretending to be a girl. It remains to be seen if his female persona on Twitter will live on.
