As for Arjun, he has been in excellent form in recent times. He secured an individual and team gold medal in the 2024 Chess Olympiad in Budapest. He also defeated France’s Maxime Vachier-Lagrave in Armageddon to clinch the 2024 WR Chess Masters Cup. It won him a cash prize of €20,000 and 27.84 Fide Circuit points.
