Anupama Padmakumar, currently out on bail in the child abduction case from Oyoor in Kerala’s Kollam, is active on Instagram once again. The Kerala High Court had granted bail to Anupama, the third accused in the child abduction case, as she had requested to join an LLB course in Bengaluru.
Justice CS Dias approved the bail under strict conditions, including that Anupama must appear before the investigating officer on the third Saturday of every month and must not enter Kollam district for other purposes.

Many comments on the video have referenced her involvement in the kidnapping case, but Anupama has not responded to any of them.
The kidnapping incident occurred on November 27, 2023, when a six-year-old girl was abducted in Oyoor by a group in a car. Anupama’s parents, Mampallykunnam Kavitarajil Padmakumar and Anitha, are also accused in the case. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh but later abandoned the child at an ashram. The incident caused a significant uproar across the state.
