Neha, on Thursday, March 27, dropped a short but crisp note for trolls on her Instagram story. She wrote, “Wait for the truth, you’ll regret judging me so quickly". The words were accompanied with an emoji indicating sadness. However, she didn’t explain why she was late to her own concert.
Earlier this week, Neha arrived three hours late to her show in Melbourne. The singer faced an angry crowd, who urged she go back. The Dilbar singer was seen breaking down in front of the audience while apologising for coming late. “Guys, you are really sweet! You have been patient. Itni der se aap log wait kar rahe ho. I hate it, maine life mein kabhi kisi ko wait nahi karwaya hai. Aap itni der se wait kar rahe ho, I’m so sorry! It means a lot to me. I will remember this evening forever. Aaj aap log mere liye itna kimti time nikaal kar aaye ho. I will make sure that I will make you all dance," she said, while fighting her tears.
However, the crowd was in no mood to hear her apologies. While a section of the audience sided her, others said, “Go back! Rest in your hotel", “This is not India, you’re in Australia", “We have been waiting for three hours." Another voice mocked her by saying, “Very good acting! This is not Indian Idol. You’re not performing with kids."
