Salman Khan exclusively revealed to News18 Showsha that Tiger vs Pathaan, his film with Shah Rukh Khan, isn’t happening for now. Salman is gearing up for the release for Sikandar on March 30, and during a conversation with News18 Showsha spilled the beans on the Yash Raj Films spy universe movie. The film would have seen Salman and Shah Rukh come together as lead actors for the first time after Karan Arjun, the Rakesh Roshan film which released in 1995.
Well, in February 2024, A source told Zoom TV that Salman and Shah Rukh have given their dates for an April shoot schedule and the film will be shot over the summer. “SRK and Salman have given their dates. As things stand today, the film should go on floors no later than April. The balance cast is being decided. The other modalities are fast being worked out," the insider said.

In 2023, Salman had seemingly confirmed that Tiger vs Pathaan is in the works. In an interview with Variety, Salman was asked about the timeline on Tiger vs Pathaan and when he would start shooting for the same. “Tiger is always ready – so whenever things are locked – I will be there," the Bollywood superstar said.
The source had earlier revealed, “This film is mounted on a huge scale. As a result, its budget will be sky-high. Aditya Chopra and his team have locked the budget of Tiger vs Pathaan at Rs. 300 crores."
Talking about Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar, it is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. Helmed by AR Murugadoss and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, it is eyeing a grand release on March 30, marking the actor’s return to Eid releases after a gap. Over the years, the superstar has delivered numerous hits, out of which most of them have been released on Eid. Watching the superstar’s film on the occasion has become a ritual for all his fans. But the question is, will Sikandar be able to cross the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office?
According to sacnlik.com, Sikandar has sold 76,006 tickets in Hindi 2D and 282 tickets in Hindi IMAX till now, with four days remaining until its release. With block seats, the film sold tickets worth Rs 6.61 crore for the opening day. The film has a total of 9128 shows all over India.
The film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead roles.
While, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in King. Suhana Khan will also be seen in the film.
