Girls Will Be Girls produced by Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha, won the best film jury award at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards. Shuchi Talati wrote and directed it, and it tells a captivating story about a boarding school in a small Himalayan hamlet in North India. The film, which stars Kani Kusruti and Preeti Panigrahi, with Kesav Binoy Kiran, tells the story of Mira, a young girl attending a harsh boarding school in the Himalayas. Mira’s sexual awakening and exploration of desire and romance are interrupted by her mother, who has never had the opportunity to go through a comparable coming-of-age experience. The film’s unvarnished portrayal of adolescence, identity, and familial turmoil has resonated with audiences around the world.

Kesav Binoy Kiron is a budding actor best known for his performance as Sri in the critically praised film Girls Will Be Girls. His acting has been recognized as a valuable contribution to the film. He is also expected to appear in the film Saanvi, which is currently in postproduction.
