Chopra picked up the silver medal in the javelin throw event with a best throw of 89.45m, while the Indian men's hockey team got the better of Spain 2-1 in the third-place playoff to bag a silver medal.
The Indian contingent added two medals to their tally on the day as Neeraj Chopra picked up the javelin throw silver, while the Indian men’s hockey unit claimed the bronze medal with a 2-1 win over Spain in the third-place playoff game. Wrestler Aman Sherawat made it to the semifinal before being outplayed, but the Indian grappler will fight for bronze in the 57 Kg freestyle category.
