The actor was recently in Japan with director Koratala Siva to promote Devara: Part 1, which will be released in Japanese theaters on March 28. As part of the promotional tour, Jr NTR actively engaged with his fans and attended a grand event. The actor shared a glimpse from the event and the louds cheers are proof of how much the audience love him.
In the clip, Jr NTR is seen entering the theater as the crowd bursts out clapping and waving. The actor swiftly made his way to the stage and even shook hands with a few fans. Jr NTR showed off his charisma wearing an effortlessly sophisticated black shirt layered under a black jacket with abstract white embroidery, combined with sleek black trousers and contemporary boots. In the caption, he wrote, “Overwhelmed, Japan!Can’t wait for the Japanese audience to experience #Devara in cinemas from March 28th."

Earlier, Jr NTR also permerd with Comedian Kintaro in Tokyo. The performer has dressed up as Jr NTR’s character Devara for the screening. Kintaro and Jr NTR match steps in a video shared by Devara’s Japanese fan page, with the audience cheering them on.
Other than Jr NTR, Devara: Part 1 also stars Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in key roles. The movie saw Jr NTR in a dual role and revolved around a man who embarks on a journey to the sea to protect his people. Devara: Part 1 is planned as a two-part series and the sequel is set to release in 2027.
On the work front, the actor is collaborating with Prashanth Neel. The new film is tentatively titled NTR Neel. This highly awaited action film is expected to be released on January 9, 2026, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam cinemas. The film is produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili and Hari Krishna Kosaraju under the Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts banners.
