Ravindra Jadeja Bumps Into Will O'Rourke While Celebrating CT 2025 Win, Video Goes Viral
As Ravindra Jadeja scored the winning runs, he accidentally bumped into the New Zealand bowler, giving a funny moment before India's historic Champions Trophy triumph.

After hitting the winning runs to help India lift the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja accidentally bumped into New Zealand’s pacer, Will O’Rourke, whilst breaking into celebrations in the summit clash held in Dubai.
Jadeja was able to pull the delivery to the square-leg region for the boundary to take India over the line, chasing down a target of 252 in 49 overs, with four wickets to spare. Rohit Sharma set the platform for the chase, scoring 76 off 83 balls. But the Indian top order was unable to stitch a partnership together, with Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli being dismissed in the 19th and 20th overs, respectively.

Shreyas Iyer continued his rich vein of form, scoring a vital 48 off 62 balls. He put India’s chase back on track and finished the tournament as India’s highest run-scorer as well. Despite Michael Bracewell and Mitchell Santner proving to be a tough challenge, India managed to dig deep with their Jadeja scoring nine runs along with KL Rahul unbeaten on 34 to help take India over the line.

The Champions Trophy title becomes the second for the Indian team under Rohit Sharma’s tenure, and the side looks set to dominate cricket in the years to come. Jadeja had earlier posted an Instagram story shutting down any possible talks of retiring from the format. He had announced his retirement from T20 internationals after winning the T20 World Cup in Barbados, and many expected him to follow suit after the Champions Trophy, but that was not the case. And it looks like the all-rounder is set to continue featuring for the 50-over side going forward.
Jadeja will now look to refresh himself and shift his focus to the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, where he hopes to play a big role in Chennai Super Kings’ upcoming campaign. The franchise narrowly missed out on qualification for the 2024 season, and they will look to redeem themselves with a title charge.
The upcoming season will be a special one for the southpaw as he reunites with Ravichandran Ashwin, who made a sensational return to the franchise after being picked up for Rs 9.75 crore in the recent mega-auction. They will begin their campaign with a cracking fixture where they take on Mumbai Indians at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on March 23.
