Samara Sahni, Ranbir Kapoor's niece, celebrated her birthday with a heartwarming tribute from grandma Neetu Kapoor. Neetu shared a throwback video of Samara singing Balam Pichkari.
Samara Sahni, Ranbir Kapoor’s niece and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s daughter, had a birthday celebration on Sunday, and her grandma, Neetu Kapoor, couldn’t resist sharing a heartwarming tribute on social media. Neetu posted a delightful throwback video of little Samara singing the ever-popular Holi anthem Balam Pichkari from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
In the adorable clip, young Samara is sitting at a table, likely in her nanny’s care, while Neetu records the moment. Samara joyfully sings the iconic tune, originally picturised on her uncle Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, and even tries to mimic the catchy hook step, adding a dose of cuteness to the video!

As Samara stops before finishing a line, someone asks her to finish it. Later, Neetu and Riddhima also ask her to sing Dilliwaali Girlfriend. Samara was only two years old when Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was released in 2013. Riddhima also shared a birthday wish for Samara with a photo montage and a picture of her birthday cake.
Not long back, Samara’s mother, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, opened up about her public image. “‘The last time I was being goofy then also they [trolls] had a problem and now when I’m not doing anything they again have a problem’," Riddhima recalled Samara’s exact words. She also said, “Kids these days are more aware about all these things. There’s so much exposure. However, my mother and I chat with her (Samara) every single day about it — the pros, cons, good, bad, ugly, so that it doesn’t affect her."
Reportedly, Samara Sahni has decided to make her career in films, just like the maternal side of her family. Currently, she is completing her education. Riddhima and Bharat got married on January 25, 2006. The couple dated for five years before tying the knot. They welcomed their daughter Samara in March 2011.
