Salman Khan's Sikandar Gets Censor Certificate With Minor Changes, Run Time Details Out
Salman Khan's Sikandar is set to hit the big screen on March 30, perfectly timed with Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.

Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his next movie – Sikandar. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the much-awaited film, it has now been reported that the AR Murugadoss directorial has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with only minor cuts.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Sikandar received a clearance from the censor board after facing minor cuts from the examining committee. Reportedly, the makers have been asked to remove the word ‘Home’ from the ‘Home Minister’ mentioned in the movie. Besides this, the makers have also been instructed to blur visuals of a political party hoarding.

It should be noted that no visual cut has been instructed to the makers. This means that all action sequences have been retained without any modifications.
Meanwhile, as per the censor certificate, the duration of the film is 150.08 minutes, which means that the Salman Khan starrer is 2 hours 30 minutes and 8 seconds long.
Sikandar is one of Sajid Nadiadwala’s most ambitious projects, directed by AR Murugadoss. Besides Salman Khan, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Recently, at the trailer launch event of the movie, the Bollywood superstar was seen talking about his experience working on Sikandar sets. Khan shared an interesting anecdote to reveal how Murugadoss constantly pushed him, especially in action sequences, to bring out his best. Salman also revealed that he did early morning shoots for Sikandar, something which he has always avoided before for his previous films.
Meanwhile, Sikandar also boasts stunning cinematography by S. Thirunavukarasu, with Vivek Harshan handling the edits. Pritam has composed the soundtrack, featuring lyrics by Sameer, while the background score has been crafted by acclaimed South Indian composer Santhosh Narayanan.
