Ayaan Agnihotri aka Agni, the son of Alvira Agnihotri and actor Atul Agnihotri, has dropped his single Universal Laws. The track, released earlier this year, was launched in Dubai by Ayaan’s uncle and superstar Salman Khan. The debutant musician, who has been working on his own EP, recently talked about choosing a different career path than his family and said that he is happy to contribute to the field people would not expect from the lineage. Further, he also revealed the advice he got from Salman before releasing his song.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Ayaan Agnihotri said, “It feels good to know that maybe I can contribute something different, something that people wouldn’t expect, to the family."

Despite coming from a privileged background, it took Ayaan eight years to find a producer and release his composition. Talking about his preparations before the song launch, Ayaan admitted that he had a lot of scope for improvement and he wanted to be good at what he was doing. “It was eight years of just refining," he added.

In the same interview, Ayaan also talked about Salman’s advice that gave him a push. He said, “One night, we were all in Panvel and the family was just chilling. I happened to perform this one song that was from my EP. It was just a hook then, not the whole song and he liked it. He asked me what will you do hiding it? Perform for everybody, sing for everybody, so you can get everybody’s opinion because there’ll be a lot of people who will tell you it’s nice and don’t think so."

Salman also adviced him, “The element of people telling you how they feel, what they think is the next element that you need to embrace," as told by Ayaan to the portal.

Earlier, in another conversation with News18 Showsha, Ayaan Agnihotri also called Salman a jokester adding that he is “really funny" adding that the superstar, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan “have a playful nature."

Talking about Universal Laws, the song is a seamless blend of rap and hard-hitting lyrics, creating an immersive listening experience. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Aditya Dev, the single combines raw emotion with innovative production for a sonic experience.
