Rippling co-founder Prasanna Sankar claimed that his Dhivya Sashidhar voluntarily handed over their child Amar’s custody and shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation on social media site X.

Dhivya meanwhile in a video claimed that her and Prasanna’s son has been missing. She also alleged that a certain “Gokulakrishnan" who is Prasanna’s personal assistant forcibly took Amar away from her.

“Someone named Gokulakrishnan, who is reportedly my husband’s PA, had forcibly taken my son from me. I don’t know the whereabouts of my son. I’m suffering," she further added.

Meanwhile, Prasanna earlier in a separate thread shared photos and videos on Sunday where he is seen with his son Amar.

“Son is safe and happy with me," he said.

Prasanna Sankar, co-founder of the $10 billion HR tech company Rippling, has publicly accused his estranged wife, Dhivya Sashidhar, of infidelity and filing false legal complaints against him amid their ongoing divorce and custody battle.

He claimed that their marriage deteriorated after he discovered Sashidhar’s alleged six-month affair with a man named Anoop. He claimed that the information was provided by Anoop’s wife through shared messages and hotel booking details.

He also alleged that Dhivya demanded a substantial divorce settlement and accused her of filing false complaints against him, including allegations of domestic violence and rape when negotiations faltered.

He stated that Singaporean authorities investigated these claims and subsequently cleared him of all charges.

The marital feud has now escalated into a custody dispute over their nine-year-old son.

Sankar and Dhivya have accused each other of abducting their child to the United States. He claimed that a US court ruled in his favour.

He claimed that his wife took their child to the US to strengthen her divorce case.

“I filed an international child abduction case in the US. And the judge ruled in favour of me and asked to return the child," he continued.

Later, they signed an MoU in Chennai where he agreed to pay his wife Rs 9 crore and Rs 4.3 lakh per month, with shared custody. However, he alleged that his wife violated the agreement “claiming that the MoU is not valid and she wants more and will go to the US again to file a divorce."

When he moved to court to ensure compliance, she accused him of kidnapping.

Sankar claims that the Chennai police have harassed him and his associates without proper legal basis, including detaining his friend Gokul without filing an FIR but on Monday evening he said that the commissioner has assured him that there will be no arrests.

“We have peace. (The) Commissioner has assured there’d be no arrests. Will leave child custody to courts. Just wants to investigate if real kidnapping happened. My dad is returning back to his home. I’m getting back to doing productive work. Thanks a lot for all your support!"
