Nayanthara has finally wrapped the shoot of her upcoming film, Dear Students. The makers dropped a fun, candid behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the sets, marking completion. She reunited with her Love Action Drama co-star, Nivin Pauly, for the film.
The video from Dear Student’s set was a collage of fun behind-the-scenes moments. It comprised the film’s leading lady, Nayanthara, actor Nivin Pauly, and their co-stars. “That’s a wrap on Dear Students! Huge thanks to our cast, crew, and everyone. Stay tuned for what’s next! #DearStudentsMovie," wrote the makers, while posting the video. Take a look:

Dear Students was announced on April 14, 2024, and is directed by duo Sandeep Kumar and George Philip. Apart from acting in it, Nayanthara and Nivin Pauly will also co-produce the film under their production houses. Mujeeb Majeed is composing music for the film and the vocals in the motion poster are given by Jmymah.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara recently issued a long statement on social media, requesting the media and her fans to drop the ‘Lady Superstar’ title that was given to her. In a heartfelt message, the actor expressed that while titles and accolades hold utmost significance, they can sometimes create an unwarranted separation between an artist and their craft. To her, the name Nayanthara is not just an actor’s identity but a reflection of who she is as a person.
“Many of you have graciously referred to me as ‘Lady Superstar,’ a title born out of your immense affection. I owe you all a lot for crowning me with such a valuable title. However, I humbly request you all to call me ‘Nayanthara.’ This is because I feel that the name is what I hold closest to my heart. It represents who I am not just as an actor but as an individual. Titles and accolades are priceless, but they can sometimes create an image that separates us from our work, our craft, and the unconditional bond we share with you, the audience," she wrote.
She further said that her connection with fans is beyond any labels, adding, “I believe we all share the language of love that keeps us connected beyond all limits. While the future might be unpredictable for all of us, I’m so happy that your unfading support will remain constant, and so will my hard work to entertain you. Cinema is what keeps us united, and let us keep celebrating it together."
On the work front, Nayanthara’s latest film, Test, is currently streaming on Netflix.
