Salman Khan is all set for a blockbuster Eid with his much-anticipated film Sikandar, which is already creating a buzz among fans. The excitement surrounding the film is palpable, and fans eagerly await Salman’s presence on the big screen. The film’s trailer was recently launched and during the event, Salman praised his co-star Rashmika Mandanna for her tireless dedication to the project, noting that her efforts reminded him of a lot of him during his early days.

Salman said about Rashmika, “She has given it her best. She was shooting for Pushpa 2 till 7 o’clock and used to join us at 9 o’clock, in the evening. She used to shoot with us till 6:30 in the morning. She used to go back to work for Pushpa 2 and she was not well as well. Then even after breaking her leg she still shot with us and didn’t cancel a single day. She reminds me a lot of me."

During the event, Salman also addressed his 31-year-age gap with Rashmika and said that when the actress has no issue with it, others shouldn’t be concerned either. He said, “Jab heroine ko problem nahi ho rahi toh aapko kyu ho rahi hai. Ab jab inki shaadi ho jaayegi, bachche ho jaayenge, badi star ho jaayegi, voh sab bhi kaam karenge na. Mummy ki permission toh mil hi jaayegi, ha na?" (If the heroine has no problem, then why should anyone else? When she (Rashmika) gets married, has kids, and becomes a big star, they will also work, right? They will get their mother’s permission, right?)."

The recently launched Sikandar trailer showcases Salman Khan in an action-packed avatar, featuring intense mass action sequences and his signature on-screen charm. His presence on screen is truly commanding, effortlessly dominating every scene. His chemistry with Rashmika Mandanna is electric and engaging. Their playful banter and contrasting personalities create an intriguing dynamic that adds depth to the story. Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by the master storyteller A.R. Murugadoss, the film is set to release on March 30, 2025.
